Augusta County Parks and Recreation

Augusta Medical Center: a regional hospital serving the needs of  the Shenandoah Valley.  Offering a variety of resouces concerning numerous health issues.

Big Brothers Big Sisters:  for the Central Blue Ridge office call:  540.851.0882

Blue Ridge Legal Services: provides free civil legal assistance to low income residents.

Boys and Girls Club of Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta

Camp Dragonfly: a weekend greiving camp for youth ages 6-18.  The camp usually takes place in September.

Community Mediation Center:  conflict resolution services and training.

Family Resource & Referral Center: community resources and parenting programs.

LEARN: Learn English and Reading Now.  Free, one-on-one tutoring to adult students in areas of basic reading and English as a second language.

Office on Youth Central Shenandoah Valley: The OOY develops positive connections between youth, their families and communities to build a strong foundation for a successful future.  Programs include: Employment Services for Yourth, Juvenille Offender Services, Services for Suspended & Expelled Youth, Gang Prevention Initiatives, Substance Abuse Prevention, Parenting Education & Support, Teen Preganancy Prevention, Summer Youth Programs, Teen Activities, After-School Programming.
