Reading:
We are implementing the Daily 5 Reading program. It is an excellent program that gives the children more choices in their reading and more opportunities to read. I have asked for them to bring in towels for this program. The comprehension tests on Fridays will not be tests that the kids will be able to study. They will be based on comprehension skills that we have discussed. These skills will be assessed using short passages that are new to the students.
 
 
Math:
It is very important for students to practice Math skills at home using IXL. Please encourage your child to use IXL.

Science:
