  • WMHS will hold its annual "Back to School" Night for all new and returning students on Wednesday, August 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the WMHS Auditorium.  Students and their parents are also invited to join our staff for a dessert social in the cafeteria at 6:30 p.m.  Please check out the August 2015 newsletter (to be mailed late July) for more information.

  • ATTENTION BOYS' BASKETBALL PLAYERS! 
     
    Any young man in grades 8-12 who is interested in playing Boys' Basketball for Wilson Memorial High School during the 2015-16 school year should plan to attend a brief meeting, with a parent, on the evening of Monday, July 6, 2015.  At that time, prospective players will have an opportunity to meet members of the new WMHS Boys' Basketball coaching staff AND receive information related to training schedules for the off-season.  The meeting will be held at 6:00 PM in the WMHS Auditorium.  Any player who will be out of town should contact Activities Director Craig Flesher at flesher.cp@augusta.k12.va.us for additional information.

  • Summer Writing Retakes will be scheduled the week of July 20th-July 24. Students who are eligible for retakes will be contacted by the school. If you have questions whether a student qualifies for the summer session, please contact Tim Harrison. Students must attend remediation in order to take a retake.
    July 20: Remediation 9-12 in the library
    July 21: Multiple Choice Test 1st attempt 9-11 AM, Remediation 12-3 PM
    July 22: Writing Test 1st attempt 9-11 AM, Remediation 12-3 PM
    July 23: Multiple Choice Test 2nd attempt 9-11 AM, Remediation 12-3 PM
    July 24: Writing Test 2nd attempt 9-11 AM

  • **Attention All Rising 9th Graders**

    9:00 AM TO 3:00 PM
    Camp Wilson is a fun-filled day at WMHS held for all rising ninth graders to get YOU ready for high school. Learn all about the Hornet Hive and the many programs and activities we have to offer. Ask those burning questions you have about high school life! This is also an opportunity to meet current WMHS Students and Teachers. The Camp is free and all participants will receive a free T-shirt. Snacks and lunch will also be provided. Be on the lookout for a brochure in the mail. Register (by mail, online, or in person at the high school) by filling out the form at this link TODAY!
