The mission of Buffalo Gap High School is to build an educational foundation for every student that will allow each one to be a contributing member of a democratic society.

  • Senior Banquet

    Senior Banquet: May 31st at 6:00PM

  • Graduation

    Graduation: June 4th at 10:00 AM at Eastern Mennonite University. Seniors will need to arrive at EMU for graduation by 9:00 AM. There are no tickets as EMU has plenty of seating at the University Commons building. The gymnasium area will be open for seating at approximately 9:00 AM. There will be parking available in multiple areas surrounding the building. Seniors will have a meeting in which they will be provided detailed information, including a map. This information will also be sent home in a printed format soon. Seniors will also have a required graduation practice on Friday, June 3rd. They will arrive at BGHS by 8:30 AM to leave on buses to EMU for 10:00 AM practice. Upon returning to BGHS, seniors are free to leave school.

  • Attention Bison Athletes: All athletes must have a valid VHSL physical, complete with proof of insurance and a completed concussion form on file before they will be allowed to participate in any school practices.

  • Attention Parents: Student Accident Insurance - 2015/16 School Year

    Augusta County School Board provides all parents with the opportunity to purchase a low-cost accident insurance program for their child (ren). Parents/guardians may choose to participate and pay the premium.

    By declining or failing to respond to the offer of insurance, parents/guardians accept full responsibility for the cost of any accidental injury to the student while at school or school-related activities.Augusta County Schools does not carry medical or accident insurance on students.

    • Markel Insurance Company will offer Student Accident policies for purchase during the 2015-16 school year. Parents can enroll children by calling 877-444-5014 or online at  http://markel.sevencorners.com.
