I have been employed with the Augusta County Sheriff's Office since August 1, 1994. At the beginning of my 16 year career in law enforcement I worked in the jail for approx. 6 months and was then assigned to work on the road as a Road Deputy for 5 1/2 years. During the last 11 years I have had the pleasure of working with the Augusta County School System as a School Resource Officer. I worked with the Administration Staff at Buffalo Gap and Beverly Manor Middle School for 4 years and have been working with the Staff  at Stuarts Draft High, Middle and Elementary Schools along with the Valley Vo-Tech School for the past 7 years. 

Working with the school system allows me to be another resource not only for the schools but also for the students, parents, teachers and the community when a crisis may arise.
