  • Classroom Painting is continuing and will go for two weeks.  The following classrooms will be painted during this time:  57 (Miller, Matallana), 59 (Hite), 60 (Arehart, Stein), 62 (Montague), 63 (Grant), 64 (Sams), 65 (Clark), 66 (Stevens), 67 (Hopkins), and 68 (Loan).

  • On Thursday, 10/6, Nicholas Sironka will be doing an assembly on the Maasai culture from 9:00 to 9:45 AM for students identified as gifted in either music or art. Students previously identified as gifted in art are also encouraged to sign up for one of the two group sessions being held at 11:15 AM and 1:30 PM. In these sessions, students will be taught how to create Batik art. Students interested in attending either of the group sessions MUST SIGN UP IN ADVANCE IN ROOM 59 (Mrs. Hite's room) no later than Wednesday, 10/5.
