  • Each Spring Augusta County recognizes outstanding volunteers from each of the schools. Our Volunteer of the Year this year is  Tonia Broome, our PTA President.  She will be honored by the VEA and the School Board at the Whole Village Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 10  Contratulations to Tonia for a job well done, and thank you to her for all the volunteer hours she puts in!

  • Students in grades 3-5 are currently taking SOL tests, and will continue to do so through Thursday, May 17. Not all students have testing every day. Check your child's folder for specific schedule information.

  • Wilson Elementary School will close for construction on Friday, June 1. Office personnel will move to the County's Central Office (just up the hill) on June 4. No one will be permitted on the property until august. Check back for more details.

  • Wilson's Spring Carnival will be held on Friday, May 18, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at Wilson Middle School. In addition to a live auction there will be games, inflatables, great food and lots of fun! Tickets are 25 cents each or five for $1.00. We hope to see you there!

  • Kindergarten registration for the 2012-2013 school year is now going on. The office will be open every day from 8:30 to 4:00 to accept registrations.  Please be sure to register your child if he/she will be five years old by September 30. Your child's birth certificate and social security number, as well as proof of residency, are required for registration.
