  • WMHS SOCCER Shenandoah District Soccer Tournament: Friday, 5/18 @ WMHS
    The Girls Soccer Team will host Page at 5:00 PM. 
    The Boys Soccer Team will host Page 20 minutes after the completion of the girls game.
    Admission is $5.00. No Wilson passes accepted.

  • ATTENTION All New Singing Sergeant Girls for Next Year: We will be fitting for your dresses after school from 3:17-4:00 May 23-25. Please be sure you bring your check for the dress the day you get your sizing done. The cost is $70, and checks may be made payable to WMHS.

  • FFA Officer Applications are available in a folder outside of the Ag Classroom. All those FFA members interested please fill it out and return it to Mrs. Kerr by 3:00 PM on Wednesday, 5/16. Officer Interviews are after school on Wednesday, 5/16 from 3:30-5:30 PM. Once your application is received, you will get your interview time. The new officers will be installed at the FFA Banquet on Tuesday, 5/22.

  • DEBATE TEAM MEETING FRIDAY: All debaters who have competed this school year need to come to Mr. Singleton’s room on Friday, 5/18, during the announcements. This meeting concerns academic letters and the Spring Awards Ceremony.

  • Are you a Harry Potter fan?  Mrs. Carter is traveling to England and Scotland in June 2013 & is looking for students interested in going too. The trip will include visits to several locations used in the filming of the Harry Potter movies. Visits will also be made to Stonehenge, Shakespeare's birthplace, and the Scottish Highlands. Students interested going on this trip should see Mrs. Carter AND look at Mrs. Carter's Tour Center for more information.

  • The Whole Village Award was presented to Walter Carter on Thursday, 5/10. He is receiving this award for his dedication to our school through his hard work
    in helping our band achieve excellence. He has served as president for the Band Boosters for the past four years while helping with trips to band camp and other locations. He was instrumental in securing a golf cart, drum major stand, uniforms, and other supplies over the past several years as well. WMHS wants to congratulate Mr. Carter and thank him for his support in helping our students excel as members of the band.

  • Girls' Basketball open gym will start Tuesday, 5/1. It will be held in the New Gym from 5:30-7:00 PM every Tuesday & Thursday until the end of summer. For a complete calendar of dates and times, please check the WMHS GBB web page.
