• AUGUSTA COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD PURCHASING DEPARTMENT
     
    The responsibility of the Purchasing Department includes the procurement of all materials, supplies and services necessary for efficient operation of the school system.  These items are purchases or contracted, subject to federal and state codes, and school board policies and procedures.  We strive to see the maximum educational value for every dollar spent by encouraging full and open competition, utilizing existing state and local contracts when advantageous, and by using centralized purchasing when economies can be realized.
