• This coming school year will be my 40th of teaching and I am looking forward to my seventh year as a Title 1 reading resource teacher.  I will be working with small groups of students in kindergarten-5th grade.
I would like to give a brief background on my education and where I have taught.  Upon graduating from Fort Defiance(yes I am an Augusta County native) I received my teaching degree from Radford University. I taught for four years in  Spotsylvania County relocating to this area in 1980.  I have taught in Augusta County for 36 years, mostly as a first grade teacher. I taught at the closed Weyers Cave School and Hugh K. Cassell before coming to Verona.
My husband Robert owns Country Village Bakeshop keeping us both busy!  Robert graduated from Va. Tech so we are Hokie fans.  Go Hokies!
Our son Chip and daughter-in-law both graduated from Old Dominion University.  He and his wife Michelle live in Roanoke with their two daughters (MY GRANDDAUGHTERS!).   I keep I-81 from Weyers Cave to Roanoke busy to visit the family!  Here we are---the Eberly Family!
