Mr. David Wright

I grew up in Weyers Cave & attended Weyers Cave Elementary. Stewart Middle School was brand new for our 6th grade year so my class was the first group of students to attend all three years at SMS. I graduated from FDHS in 1987. Following high school I worked for a year doing manual labor as a roofer. Then I spent 2 years as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Idaho and Wyoming. After returning home I worked for Flint Ink in Weyers Cave to start saving money for college. I graduated from BRCC and transfered to Brigham Young Universtity in Provo, UT where I majored in Mathematics Education and earned a minor in Driver and Traffic Safety Education. I taught at Payson Junior High in Payson, Utah for 2 years before taking a job here at FDHS in 1999. My wife and I are the parents of 3 girls and 2 boys. Our oldest daughter is attending Weber State University in Ogden, UT. Our oldest son, Jaden, graduated from Fort last year. Kyra is a sophomore here at Fort. Rigdon is in the 8th grade at SMS and Leah is a 5th grader at Clymore. I met my wife, Kandy, while attending BYU. She is from Price, UT and she works at Legacy Surgery in Harrisonburg and will help to remove your wisdom teeth if you schedule a visit.
