• Identification of Gifted and Talented Students

    Transfer Students

    Transferring Within Augusta County
If your child is transferring to Stump Elementary from another Augusta County school, there is no new testing or paperwork required.  Please let the homeroom teacher know that your child is part of the Gifted and Talented Program.  If you have additional questions, please let Mrs. Torrens or Mrs. Henderson know.

    Transferring From Outside Augusta County
Students who are new to Augusta County but were previously identified as Gifted and Talented by their school division may be accepted into the Augusta County Gifted Program.  Please let your child's homeroom teacher, Mrs. Torrens, or Mrs. Henderson know and we will collect information from the previous school division and follow up with you.  Depending on the test used to determine Gifted and Talented placement, your child may roll directly in to the Augusta County program or he or she may require additional testing.
