Woodworking/Furniture Making In this course students will develop the foundational knowledge and skills of transforming rough lumber into accurate, sturdy, practical wood products. Students will gain hands-on experience with power equipment and hand tools by building two class projects- a splined picture frame and a small crate using his/her choice of joinery. Students are also encouraged to bring personal projects for discussion, work, or repair. Safety glasses required.
