SOL Review MaterialSome of the best material to use to review for the Chemistry SOL is located on my PortaPortal page under the SOL Review Category. On this page you can find practice tests and study guides that use previously administered SOLs that have been released for public use. Use the tab to the left called PortaPortal to find out how to access this page. One thing that you can access here is the answers to the SOL Review Stations that we used in class. Please use the PowerPoints to find the answers that you may have missed in class. If you have any problems opening these documents, there are any mistakes, or have any questions, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.Plus, if you forgot any of the worksheets at school and would like a copy, you can download them from here, as well as take the SOL review question sections. I also know that some computers get a "must use mouse to submit" error message. Unfortunately, if you get that message, you will not be able to submit your answers to see if you are correct. That is why I have the Just in Case Answer Keys. This is a pdf version of the answers with explanations that you can use to study.Station 10 Worksheet Station 10 Answer PowerPoint Station 10 SOL Questions Just in Case Answer Key 10Station 11 Worksheet Station 11 Answer PowerPoint Station 11 SOL Questions Just in Case Answer Key 11Station 12 Worksheet Station 12 Answer PowerPoint Station 12 SOL Questions Just in Case Answer Key 12/\IIThis is the part you willwant to practice with.Big Packet Answer Key2010 SOL - The DOE has recently released the 2010 SOL. I have created a study guide from it and encourage you to use it to study for the SOL. Note that the questions are slightly out of order and the Technology Enhanced Questions are not exactly the same formatting. To practice the questions as they would be seen on the SOL, make sure to visit the DOE website and complete the online version of the SOL. (http://www.doe.virginia.gov/
testing/sol/released_tests/ index.shtml) Just in Case Answer Key 2010http://www.doe.virginia.gov/testing/sol/practice_items/ will also lead to some practice problems on the DOE website.Plus there is an excellent series on youtube that are very helpful in understanding key concepts of chemistry called Crash Course. The following link should take you to the first video in the series (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSyAehMdpyI&list=PL8dPuuaLjXtPHzzYuWy6fYEaX9mQQ8oGr).
