I live in Churchville , Virginia with my husband, Eric, and two children.  I have a daughter in fourth grade and a son that is a freshman.  We have too many cats and a dog named Otis.  Here in my library we have two amphibian pets!  Frog and Toad have been a hit with the students.  

My teaching experience includes several years of service here in Augusta County.  This is my first year teaching at Verona and I am  pleased to be in the library at Verona Elementary School!  It is such a pleasure to see the students during their specials rotation time.  During their visit students will receive a lesson or story and song time,  and have the opportunity to check out books to take home.  It is my job to encourage reading, and since I love childrens' literature and elementary school students that is A FUN JOB!  I hope that the students come home excited about our school library and the materials they can borrow.
