AutoCAD 2019 and/or Autodesk’s Inventor 2019
@ Stuarts Draft High School taught by Duane Burtner
Using Autodesk’s AutoCAD 2019, this introductory course is for students interested in using the computer to draw or represent objects. Students will be exposed to the basic commands of two- dimensional computer aided drafting needed to produce and print working drawings.
The Autodesk’s Inventor 2019 class is an intermediate course for students who have had the AutoCAD drawing class as a prerequisite or are proficient using AutoCAD. Students will be exposed to a variety of more difficult drawing assignments as they relate to the world of mechanical engineering. The graphic language and terms used for product design, technical illustration, and how three-dimensional objects are represented in two and three dimensional mediums are the basic objectives of the class. Students will be exposed to complex orthographic and isometric drawings and assemblies. Auxiliary and sectional views as well as creating and manipulate 3-D models are part of the course as well.
