6th Grade Exploratory Options
There are two options from which a student may choose when making decisions about exploratories:
- Option A: Career exploratory rotation, which includes six different exploratory courses -- each lasting six weeks. The exploratory courses are: Art, Keyboarding, Music, Introduction to Agriscience, Introduction to Technology, and Introduction to Family & Consumer Science. Choosing this option automatically schedules students into each of these courses. For example, a student may have Art the first six weeks, then Introduction to Family & Consumer Sciences the next six-weeks, and continue on throughout the school year until all six exploratory courses have been completed.
- Option B: Students who wish to participate in Band 6, a year-long course, should select this option.
