• Lessons for Leadership and Life

    Lesson 1: Lead an inspired life. Do you hear that? It’s your calling.

    Lesson 2: If you are going through an awful day, don’t stop to take pictures. Keep moving forward. Opportunities are just one block away.

    Lesson 3: Pay attention to your intuition. It’s the only tuition that you’ll never have to pay money for.

    Lesson 4: When you lock the keys inside your car, just ask for help. It’s less messy then breaking your car windows.

    Lesson 5: In order to discover new places you have to leave old places. How else will you get there?

    Lesson 6: Each day, try to find what’s right with the world. Don’t expect for someone else to tell you. Nope, not even FOX news.

    Lesson 7: As a leader, set progressive goals. Connect short term goals with your long term goals. Is eating that candy bar really going to help your diet? ....Really?

    Lesson 8: Help others and good things will happen. That’s what the guy that won the lottery said.

    Lesson 9: Embrace change. No, not the kind that jingles. After all, it is inevitable.

    Lesson 10: Leave your past behind. Learn from it but don’t marry it.

    If you laughed, then it’s true: You waste at least 15 seconds of valuable work time. Now get back to work.

    If you didn’t laugh, read it backwards with your eyes closed.

    The Message: If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.

    Each day is a new day. It doesn't matter how hard you worked yesterday or how hard you didn't work yesterday, you have to pick it back up & keep going.

    Don't give up. Even if you fail once, try again. Even if you fail twice, try again. Even if you have tried dozens & dozens of times, try again. You've just got to stay focused & put your heart into it.
    — Lizzeth Davalos
    =========================
    To lead the life you've always envisioned for yourself, you may need to make tough choices & perhaps even take a brave leap into the unknown.
