• VDH recommendations that will be implemented in ACPS schools in 2022-2023: normal cleaning of desks, door knobs, etc.; continuing the use of air purifiers as a mitigation strategy in our classrooms.

• We are still following the strategy of three (3) feet of distancing to the greatest extent possible. 

• School nurses and administrators will continue to communicate isolation timelines to those who have symptoms or have tested positive - see VDH Chart above. 

• Masks are optional for everyone unless an individual (including an athlete at a practice/game) is in days #6-10 after a diagnosis of COVID/positive test result - see VDH Chart above. 

• Emergency leave is currently available to employees who are diagnosed with/positive for COVID.
