Welcome to the wonderful world of fourth grade!  I am thrilled to be able to work at Cassell with your beautiful children.  I am blessed to have such supportive fellow teachers in fourth grade who strive to give your students the best education possible as I do.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I was born in Augusta County and have lived here all of my life.  I graduated from Riverheads High School, Blue Ridge Community College and James Madison University.  This is my 37th year of teaching.  I grew up on a farm and both sets of grandparents were also farmers so I'm definitely a farm raised kid. From the age of five my goal was to be an elementary teacher.  I'm starting my thirty-seventh year and I still love it!
I'm very excited about this school year and I know your child will learn wonderful things in fourth grade.  I look forward to a year full of adventure with them.  Please feel free to call me with any questions or e-mail me if need be. We will also use the Remind app to help with our communication during the year.  Thanks so much for your support.  We will work together to make this an outstanding year in your child's life. I can't wait to get started.

    Love,
    Mrs. Turner
