Preschool Program
We are part of The School-Based Preschool Network for the Shenandoah Valley. The Network's service area includes Augusta, Bath, and Highland Counties, and portions of Rockingham County, as well as Staunton, Harrisonburg, and Waynesboro City Schools.
The Augusta County Preschool program has a full day classroom in each elementary school.  The first step to be considered for the Preschool program is to complete a Preschool application.  Preschool applications are available in every elementary school.
    The Preschool Curriculum

The Creative Curriculum is used as the framework for age appropriate, developmental progress of each child. In addition, the Blueprint for Early Literacy Curriculum is used to promote early literacy skills in all Preschool programs in Augusta County.  Together they afford the teacher, the opportunity to individualize for each student.
