Meet Mrs. Cash
-
Hello! My name is Amy Cash and I have been teaching for 22 years. I started my teaching career in Northern Virginia where I taught grades kindergarten, first, and second. Then, in 1997, I moved to this area and taught fourth grade at Stuarts Draft Elemenatry. In 1999 I moved to Guy K. Stump when it reopened and I taught fourth grade. It was during this time that my first son was born. Three years later I had my second son and I took some time off to be at home with both of my boys. I went back to teaching at Wilson Elementary in 2007 and taught fifth and third grade. Now I am coming full circle and I am back at Stump in third grade! My memories of my time here always bring a smile to my face and I am so excited to be back to make more sweet memories. My sons are now young men; my oldest is a Junior at JMU and my youngest is a Senior at Stuarts Draft High School. My husband is the librarian and football coach at Stuarts Draft High School. As you can see, I feel right at home here at SES. I look forward to meeting you!
