March 15, 2020 update from Mrs. Edwards:

A message to all my students: Now is the time to allow music to be a source of comfort for yourself and those around you. Listen to great choirs, find new music to enjoy, study your scores, and let the music wash over you.

All choral students who were present in school on Friday, March 13, were instructed to take home their choral folders and were given a new google classroom code to access homebound activities, choral recordings, etc. I have already posted some information and pertinent choral recordings, and I will continue to do so.

Sight Reading Factory, the digital sight reading tool we use in class, has offered FREE access to their site for ALL of my current choral students. A student code good for 39 students (Singing Sergeants) has been created at SightReadingFactory.com. Students can redeem this code by using the password "tjnkcn". Singers are encouraged to use this wonderful resource.

To activate your SRF account for the first time:
    1. Go to SightReadingFactory.com/student.
    2. Enter the student code provided by the instructor in the Student Code field.
    3. Select the appropriate age group.
    4. Complete the registration information.

All Piano I and Piano II students were instructed to take home their theory workbooks on Friday, March 13. These students are already in Google classrooms, where I will be posting assignments so students can maintain their progress in music theory. Students who have pianos at home were instructed to take their current music home to practice.
