Hello, and welcome to the 2018-19 school year! I'm excited to get started on a new school year!
Just a little about myself....
I grew-up in Stuarts Draft, and I am a 1991 graduate of SDHS. After receiving my graduate degree at Virginia Tech, I taught special education in Floyd County. I then moved-on to teach special education and coach in Appomattox County. In 2006, my family moved to Stuarts Draft, and I spent two years teaching special education at SDHS before going to Beverley Manor Middle to teach 7th grade Science. I returned to SDHS to teach science in the Fall of 2016. I am now in my 22nd year of doing what I love!!!
I have four children and live in Draft with my two youngest (my oldest is graduating from Auburn University in December and my daughter is a recent graduate of SDHS), our two dogs, and guinea pig. In our "free" time, we like to travel, hang-out with friends and family, and watch sports (I have a weakness for college football).
