Brent Hull comes to VCTC from Fort Defiance High School where he taught Honors Biology, Advanced Ecology, Dual Enrollment Forestry, and Natural Resources for 26 years. Brent is a graduate of Bridgewater College, and he has an MS in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. He started the soccer program at FDHS, and he also coached the school's Envirothon team and co-directed the school musical. He also sponsored the Ecology club and has experience coaching FFA soils, forestry, and natural resources teams.
Brent is a resident of Mt. Sidney and comes from a family of educators in Augusta County. His parents were teachers, his wife, Wendy, is a teacher, and her parents also taught. Brent's role model is his father, Larry Hull, who taught and coached at Riverheads High School for 48 years. Brent's eldest daugther, Jessalynne, attends Longwood University with aspirations of joining the teaching field! His son, Max, is a sophomore at FDHS and his youngest daughter, Saywer Jane, is in preschool. Brent enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and the performing arts. You may catch him on the stage at ShenanArts or the Oak Grove in the summer. He is also an acoustic singer/songwriter who performs throughout the valley.
