    Greetings Stinger Nation. We are delighted to introduce ourselves to our WMS community.

    From left to right, we are, Mrs. Mundie, prinicipal, Mr. Bowers, assistant principal, Mrs. Davis, assistant principal.

    We consider it an honor and a privilege to serve our Wilson Middle School community. Together we have over 65 years of experience in education. We each previously instructed groups of students. Here is a little more about who we are.


    Mrs. Vanessa Mundie- Formerly a special education instructor in Augusta County. In addition, she served as a career counselor and coach, as well as, an assistant principal at Wilson Middle School. She herself is a graduate from Wilson High School. She then went on to earn a BA at Radford University. She obtained a masters in education at Mary Baldwin University, and a masters in administration from Shenadoah University. 

    Mr. Rod Bowers- Formerly a physcial education instructor in Augusta and Rockingham Counties. In addition, he served as a coach for football, basketball, and soccer. He graduated from Musselman High School in WV and went on the play football at Bridgewater College. He earned a masters in administration from Liberty University. 

    Mrs. Sarah Davis- Formerly an elementary school educator in Augusta County and Staunton. In addition she served as an instructional coach and intervention specialist. She graduated from Fort Defiance High School and went on to earn an undergraduate degree at Mary Baldwin College. She earned a masters in administration from Averett University.
