    PSAT - Held in the RHS Cafeteria on Wednesday, October 16th. Cost is $18.00 and students may sign up the Guidance Office. First come, first serve. Space is limited. All students planning to apply to Shenandoah Valley Governor's School are required to take the PSAT.
        
    October 23rd @ 1:00 p.m. Lee Ann Whitesell, Director, from Shenndoah Valley Governor's School at will be at RHS to give a brief presentation regarding Governor's School for all interested students.  Parents are welcome to join.  
     
    Shenandoah Valley Governor's School Spend a Day's for potential candidates: Information was mailed home to parents/students in late September and those that returned their forms and expressed interest in attending will be signed up to take part in Spend a Day.  Students will receive reminders and additional information closer to their date.

    Early November (Gladiator Block) - Presentation by Amy Pultz, Assistant Principal, from Valley Career and Technical Center will be here to present their programs to the 10th grade class. Students will be allowed to sign up to shadow a program of their choice in the Guidance Office starting in November.
     
    Early November (Gladiator Block) - Presentation by Ben Ham, teacher of the Dual Enrollment Manufacturing and Engineering program at SDHS will be here to present to students. Any interested students should come to the Guidance Office to sign up to attend.

    November 14th - FAFSA Completion Workshop -RHS will be facilitating a workshop to help students and parents complete their FAFSA.   Parent and Student can arrive anytime between 5:30 and 6:30 PM for help with FAFSA completion in RHS Library.
                     What to bring:
                             If attending college in the Spring of 2020
    • 2017 tax returns
    • Copy of W2 for that year
    • Record of government benefits for that year
    • Records of untaxed income for that year
    • Social Security number for self and student

                            If attending college in the Fall of 2020

    • 2018 tax return
    • Copy of W2 for that year
    • Records of government benefits for that year
    • Records of untaxed income for that year

    Late November - Counselors will be at Beverley Manor Middle School to begin the registration with 8th graders.
