Shirley Kaufman, WHSV's Teacher of the Month - Shirley Kaufman's name was submitted by Austin Lam, who had this to say in the nomination: "Ms. Kaufman is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of teacher, she is the head Agriculture teacher at Buffalo Gap. Ms. Kaufman is a leader and has changed many lives, like myself, she courage me to try new things and to break out of my comfort zone, and I would not be the person I am today if it wasn't for her. She deserves all the dedication she can get, and if people were to ask her former students about her, they would all say the same, that she is a hard-working, time-dedicated teacher" https://www.whsv.com/page/teacher-of-the-month/
