Scholastic Records Request Procedure

NOTE:  If you are requesting a GED, please click "GED VERIFICATIONS". 

This procedure applies to requests from former students who have been out of Augusta County Schools for more than five (5) years. (Less than five (5) years, requests should be handled by the last school student attended.) The Central Office receptionist will process requests for students who have graduated prior to five years from today’s date. 

A $3.00 fee per item mailed or faxed must be submitted before request is processed. There is no fee for emailing transcripts. (Cash, check, or money order payable to Augusta County Schools) 

The Request Form is on-line (see link below). Complete form and provide the proper signature. Enclose payment and mail to:

Requestor may also visit the School Board office in person between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., fill out the form, and submit the $3.00 fee. 

Electronic copies of transcripts may be requested by emailing: transcript@augusta.k12.va.us. There is no charge for electronic copies. 

Please allow up the three business days for transcript to be pulled and processed. 

After payment of the fee, transcripts are mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the address/fax number/email address provided on the request, or held at the School Board Offices to be picked up by applicant.  

Colleges and businesses who request records must supply a signed copy of the records request and also submit the fee.
