Shenandoah Valley Regional Program (SVRP)

The Shenandoah Valley Regional Program for Special Education (SVRP) is a public regional organization designed to meet the needs of students receiving special education services.  The regional collaboration was established in 1979 and currently includes the following seven school division: Page County, Shenandoah County, Rockingham County, Harrisonburg City, Augusta County, Staunton City and Waynesboro City. The intent of regional programming is to establish and maintain collaboration between participating school division to meet the needs of students with disabilities. SVRP is governed by a Joint Board, which includes one representative from each participating division’s school board.  The SVRP office is based out of the central office in Augusta County Schools and is located in Verona.
