Leadership Project Seeks Donations

Fort Alumni, Friends, and Family,

Over the years we have been asked how our loving community can help out.  From those discussions we have had help with various projects throughout the campus.  From time to time we have projects come to mind, which will enhance our school, and provide better surroundings.

This year, the Leadership Development class has made a goal to update the “living room” in the Family and Consumer Science section of the building.  For years, the room has been used for social gatherings, lunches, and presentations, and it has served its purpose well. Now, it is a bit of a time capsule, holding outdated memories of yesteryear.

They are seeking monetary donations, which will help them bring the room up to date.  Anything will help.

This project will aid the students of Fort Defiance in several ways.  The leadership class will get to apply their lessons to a real world scenario.  They will work as a team, work independently, and develop their leadership style.   It will also allow them to be creative, and express their own ideas.

The room will continue to be used as it has, a meeting room for guests, a home-like spot in the school for luncheons, and a place for the students to be proud of.

They would like to complete the project by December 10th.

Checks can be made out to FDHS, and mailed to the school ATTN: Leadership Development.

Thank you for your consideration.  Have a beautiful day, the Indian Way.
