  • October is National Bullying Prevention Month which provides the perfect opportunity to revisit the ins and outs of bullying. October is National Bullying Prevention Month which provides the perfect opportunity to revisit the ins and outs of bullying. Bullying is a behavior, not an identity. Labeling a student as a “bully” can have a detrimental effect on their future and often limits their ability to change their behavior. Any student can exhibit bullying behavior – male or female, popular or unpopular, students with good grades, and those who struggle academically. On Wednesday, 10/25, we will be sponsoring Unity Day at our school, a day where we are altogether against bullying, united for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. If you care about safe and supportive schools and communities make your color ORANGE on Unity Day. Wear orange! It can be an orange T-shirt, tie, socks, or shoelaces. FCCLA members also will be handing out bracelets on Unity Day to spread orange across our school. Let's send one large ORANGE message!

  • The best gift you can give someone is the purity of your full attention. Just be present with them and pay attention to the little things. Do so and you will discover the best in both yourself and them.
