Below are driving directions to schools and locations where Buffalo Gap teams compete in various sports. For additional information or specific information about a particular event, contact BGHS at 337-6021 or call the individual school.
BATH COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL (540) 839-2431
Rt. 42 South to Goshen. Left onto Rt. 39. Take 220 South. School is approximately 4 miles on your left.
CUMBERLAND HIGH SCHOOL
OPTION #1
I-64 East, take exit 121A for State Highway 20 South towards Scottsville (37 miles), turn right at US-15 (1.5 miles), turn left at US-60 (14.5 miles), turn right at School Road. (102 miles-2 hours, 10 minutes)
OPTION #2
I-64 East, take exit 136 for US-15 towards Gordonsville, turn right at US 15 (Fork Union/Palmyra- 40 miles), turn left at US-60 (14.5 miles), turn right at School Road. (118 miles-2 hours, 10 minutes)
LURAY HIGH SCHOOL (540) 743-3800
I-81 North. Take New Market exit Rt. 211. Turn right off exit ramp onto 211 East. Turn left at second stop light, then right at next stop light. Follow 211 over mountain to Luray. 211 East to 211 East Business (Main Street Luray). Take first right off of West Main Street on to Leaksville Road. Proceed approx. .45 miles to Bulldog Drive and take a right. Take first left and follow lane up to the front of the school to main entrance near flag poles.

I-81 North to Harrisonburg. Take Weyers Cave exit – turn right off exit ramp. Turn left at stop light in Weyers Cave. Turn right onto Rt. 33 East. Go approximately 12 miles. Turn left onto Rt. 602 (immediately after Massanutten Resort) Stay on Rt. 602 for approximately 9 miles. At stop light turn left onto Rt. 340. Page County HS will be 5 miles on your left.
RIVERHEADS HIGH SCHOOL (540) 337-1921
From BGHS – Left on Rt. 42. Left onto 254. Take a right onto Miss Phillips Rd. At stop sign, turn right. Go 300 yards, turn left at the Hebron Church. At the “Y” in the road – stay left. At white church, turn left onto Smokey Rd. At stop sign, turn right onto Middlebrook Rd. Go approximately 4 miles, turn left onto Howdysville Rd. Riverheads HS will be on the left.

I-81 North. Take the Shenandoah Caverns exit 269. Turn left off exit ramp. Stonewall will be on your right.
WILSON MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL (540) 886-4286
I-81 South. Take the Rt. 250 exit to Fishersville. Turn left off exit ramp onto Rt. 250 East. Go approximately 5 miles. Turn left at stop light towards Woodrow Wilson Rehab Center. Go past elementary school. Veer right at the “Y” intersections and go past Vo-Tech Center. Wilson will be on your right.

Rt. 42 North. Go through Harrisonburg and into Broadway. After RR tracks, turn right at stop light onto Springbrook Road. BHS will be on your left.
COVINGTON HIGH SCHOOL (540) 965-1410
Rt. 42 South to Milboro Springs (42 will become 42 South and 39 for a while). Continue on 42 South onto 64 West. Take 2nd Covington exit. Left off ramp. School will be on your right.
EASTERN MENNONITE HIGH SCHOOL (540) 432-4500
Rt. 42 North through Harrisonburg. Go through stop light (Neighbors Exxon and Rite Aid are on your right). Take the next left onto Parkwood Drive. EMHS is on your left.

I-81 South to Buena Vista exit 188A. Take Route 60 East to Buean Vista. Bear right at Hardees before stoplight. Turn left (501 South) at 1st light. Go through town. Turn left onto 3rd street Travel two blocks. Turn right on Hazel Ave. School is on left.

Rt. 11 North through Verona. Go approximately 5 miles. Turn left at stop light onto Fort Defiance Dr.

I-64 East to exit 107 (Crozet/Wintergreen). Turn left onto 250 East. Travel approximately 1 mile. School is on the right.
CHARLOTTESVILLE HIGH SCHOOL (434) 245-2410
I-81 North to I-64 East. I-64 E to 29 North exit to Charlottesville. Stay on 250 Bypass after passing the exits to 29. Take Dairy Rd. exit off 250. At top of exit ramp, turn left. Follow signs to school. Stadium is on Melbourne Rd.
ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL (540) 463-5555
I-81 South to exit 191 (I-64 West). Take the first exit (#55 – Route 11). At the end of the exit ramp, take a left onto Route 11 South. At the first light, take a right onto Greenhouse Rd. (at the Texaco). School is ahead on the left.
ALLEGHANY HIGH SCHOOL (540) 863-1700
I-64 West to exit 21 (Low Moor). At the top of exit ramp, take a right, followed by a very quick left. Follow this road, which parallels the Interstate for about 3 miles. Just past the Pepsi-Cola Warehouse, take a right at end of bridge (Mountaineer Drive). School is straight ahead.
ORANGE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL (540) 661-4300
I-64 East to Charlottesville. Exit onto Route 20 North. Travel Route 20 to Barboursville and then to the town of Orange. Take a right at the church onto Route 15. Left at 2nd stop light (will put you back on 20). Take left onto Selma Road and the school will be on your right.

I-81 to Exit 245. Turn left on Port Republic Road, right on Route 42 and left on Mt. Clinton Pike. Take right on Park Rd. University Commons (gymnasium) will be on the left.
WILLIAM CAMPBELL HIGH SCHOOL ((804) 376-2015
Take I-64 to Charlottesville. (Short cut: Take Rt. 6 from Afton to Rt. 29). Take Rt. 29 south to Lynchburg. After crossing the James River, take Rt. 501 south. At the stop light in Rustburg turn right and proceed for 12-13 miles. Watch for sign directing you to turn right to the school.
JAMES RIVER HIGH SCHOOL
Take I-81 South. Take exit 167 to Route 11 toward Buchanan. Turn left ont Frontage Rd. (Rte 11 South) and follow for 1.2 miles. Turn Right onto 1st Street (Route 43). Continue on Route 43 for 3.8 miles. Turn left onto Springwood Rd.
STRASBURG HIGH SCHOOL
To the school: Take Interstate 81 to Strasburg Exit 298. Go south on US Route 11, to the first light. Turn right, go one block to the next light then make a left turn. Strasburg High School is two blocks up on the left on Ram Drive. At the school, you will find all basketball, football, soccer, track & field, volleyball, wrestling, cross country and academic events.
FOR BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL - Do not turn onto Ram Drive, go past the school and across the river. After crossing the river, take the first paved road to the right. The fields are straight ahead.
