5th grade students honored by Sangerville Towers Ruritans

For the past 40 years, the Sangerville Towers Ruritan club has yearly recognized two outstanding 5th grade students. These students are selected by faculty and staff to receive the Mary Buck Award. Mary Buck was a teacher in Augusta County and served at Sangerville Towers and Parnasas schools. She was dedicated and determined to support student opportunity and growth in the Shenandoah Valley. This year, Rory Purcell and Violet Riddle were awarded the Mary Buck student awards. They were honored at a dinner and each received a check for $100. We are very proud of Rory and Violet! NRES is honored to serve with and for our ruritan groups to continue the tradition of excellence in Augusta County!
