Augusta County Public Schools Kindergarten Registration:
For the 2026-2027 school year, children who will be 5 years old by September 30, 2026 are eligible to enter kindergarten.
Step 1: Online Registration begins on March 2, 2026.
Online Registration must be completed for each child. You can access the link through the Augusta County Schools Website by clicking the “Student Registration” button.
Step 2: Onsite Registration begins March 16, 2026.
Hours are daily from 8:30am- 4:00pm at individual elementary schools.
Evening Option: March 19 from 5-7pm
*Onsite registration is completed at your child’s home school (based on residency).
To prepare for registration, please bring the following documentation:
Birth certificate
Immunization and Physical Forms
Proof of Residency - 2 forms are required:
The 1st proof of residency must be either a Lease Agreement or a Mortgage Statement.
The 2nd proof of residency can be any of the following: Bank or Tax Statement, Utility Bill, or a Pay Stub
Suggested: Social Security Card of the child registering for Kindergarten
