Our lovely Ms. Hodges has graced our hallways with a beautiful work of art! We love the colorful addition to our school! Thank you, Ms. Hodges!!

WOW! Today was out of this world! The One School One Book title was revealed this morning, and the students and staff at WMS will be reading Planet Earth is Blue by Nicole Panteleakos!
Today's assembly included a very special guest who worked for 44 years at NASA as a rocket scientist. He recently retired from the NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Va. He shared with the students about his journey to becoming an engineer, his work at NASA and his own personal experience with the Challenger disaster. We were so appreciative of Mr. Melvin Ferebee for taking the time to share his passion and knowledge with the students at WMS.
All students received their own copy of the book today, along with a calendar to help guide them. Let the reading begin!
