Augusta County Public Schools

Augusta County Public Schools Summer meals program has come to a close for the Summer of 2025.  We want to take a moment to thank our wonderful cafeteria staffs across  Augusta  County who put in extra hours over the past month to prepare meals at Riverheads Middle, Buffalo Gap High and Wilson High School as well as our staff who prepared non perishable meals for sites in Verona, Stuarts Draft and Craigsville.  We want to send a big shout out to the Augusta County Library and Jennifer Brown for providing volunteers to cover our non-school sites as well as the Office on Youth who was a big part of that volunteer program.  We also want to thank the Craigsville Library, Verona Fire Department, Stuarts Draft Fire Department and Rejoicing Life Church and Mr. Lawson for opening up their buildings so we could serve youth in those locations.  Augusta County Public Schools appreciates the opportunity to provide this service to the children of our communities and we are already looking for ways that we can improve and extend this program in the Summer of 2026.
