Unfortunately, due to the way in which electronic SCA voting was set up there was some confusion for students when selecting the grade levels of student candidates. Also, votes were unable to be verified based upon their grade level after the fact.
As stated " SCA Class Elections: Please vote for next year's class officers! Only vote for your class please! Thanks!"
Therefore, there will be paper balloting for all SCA student candidate races to ensure that grade level candidates are being voted on by their peers in their respective grade levels. The SCA would like to ensure transparency in the voting process and an accurate vote count for all candidates involved.
We will briefly hold the Tech bus for Homeroom.
TRACK NEWS: Track will not participate in the Mountain View Invitational this Friday on 5/5.

TRACK ALERT: The Augusta County Invite schedule for this evening at Riverheads has been moved to Monday May 1 beginning at 5 PM
The Varsity Baseball and Softball Games @ Fort that are being played tomorrow will be 6 PM start. The JV contests @ Gap will be 5:30 Starts.
The Softball and Baseball games scheduled for this Friday 4/28 have been moved to Thursday 4/27 due to the high probability of bad weather.

Kitchen/Serving Lines and Food Options
Beginning May 1, 2023 Nielsen construction will be renovating our cafeteria kitchen/serving lines for the new middle school project. Our cafeteria staff will work hard to ensure that there will be food choices for students. Please understand that options will be limited without access to the main kitchen. Our cafeteria staff will be partnering some days with Village Pizza in Churchville to provide pizza for students lunches. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
NEW TENNIS INFO: BOYS TENNIS MATCH IS NOW MOVED BACK TO 4/20
The Boys Tennis match originally scheduled for 4/20 has been moved to Friday 4/21 @ Gap. The Girls will still play on 4/20 as scheduled.

SOCCER GAME CHANGE: Due to player Shortage after Easter Weekend, the Soccer Game today vs The Boys home will be rescheduled to a later date.
Athletic Alert: The JV Softball and JV Baseball games @ Wilson on Tuesday 4/11 have a 6 PM start. The Varsity Games at Gap remain 5:30 Starts.
Graduation Parking and Entrances
For Graduation at Buffalo Gap we will have three entrances for the Parents and the Community, Entrance One by the Tennis Courts from the Front Parking Area, Entrance Two from the Lower Parking Areas close to Softball and Entrance Three for Disabled and Additional Parking from the Baseball Areas. There will be seating in the bleachers, on the track and to either side of the graduates on the field. You are welcome to bring your own chairs for designated open seating areas! If you are concerned about sun or rain please bring an umbrella or headcovering. There will be some tents available for shade and water provided in coolers at entrances.

All the Baseball and Softball games that were rained out on 3/31 were moved to 4/24 and have been moved again due to a conflict Covington has with their Senior players that day.
The new date is 4/26 same times same locations.
For parking tonight at Riverheads: BB and SB should use New Riverheads Elementary and Riverheads High School front parking lots and walk up. The soccer and softball lots are full right now at Riverheads due to an Elementary Field Trip to Jamestown!!! High School Admin does not anticipate those spots opening up prior to gametime!!!
