5/9/25 Due to a downpour in Fishersville the Varsity Baseball game this evening has been moved to 7pm instead of 6 pm start. Varsity Softball is still a 6 pm start.

The Fine Arts Department held its annual Fine Arts Awards Banquet on April 29th to celebrate the achievements of Music, Theater, and Art students from the 2024 - 2025 school year. During the banquet, the BGHS chapter of the International Thespian Society was reinstated with a troupe of 11 members. Our Fine Arts teachers are incredibly proud of all of our hard working students and are looking forward to the great things to come from these students in the future.

The BGHS and BGMS Fine Arts Departments will be having the annual Fine Arts Spring Showcase on Sunday, May 4th, at BGHS. The schedule of events is as follows: 2:00 - Guitar, Piano, and Musical Theatre 3:00 - Art Show , Intermission 3:30 - Choir and Jazz Band Admission is free! Come out and support the hard work our Fine Arts students have put in this semester!

Fine Arts Spirit Week March is Fine Arts in Our Schools month! To celebrate the Fine Arts in education, the BGHS Fine Arts Department would like to invite you to participate in our Spirit Week next week, 3/17 - 3/21! The Spirit Days are as follows: Monochromatic Monday - Wear all one color! Tie Dye Tuesday - Come decked out in your best tie - dye! Western Wednesday - Wear your favorite country/western apparel! Theater Thursday - Dress up like your favorite movie or stage character! Forever Friday - Dress for your favorite decade of music!

Congrats to our Indoor Track Team on the following post season accomplishments: Regions 4x800 Regional Champions Alex Duquette, Elias Duquette, Cole Reed, Wes King 2nd Place Regional 500 m Alex Duquette Girls 4x800 and 4x400, 3rd place Reagan Gwaltney, Madison Huffer, Jennifer Martinez Cano, Rain Leverock States Alex Duquette, State Medalist with a 4th place finish in the 500m and 1 second off of the school record. Boys 4x800 finished 9th Girls 4x800 was 8th with an improvement of 1 min on their best time and 9th in the 4x400
