Student Led NHS Veterans Day Assembly
On Monday, November 11, NHS will honor our local veterans with a special assembly. We are inviting veterans to join us from 8:30 to 9:00 A.M. in our school auditorium.
The assembly will include a presentation of the flag, a welcome address from Dr. Marshall, a prepared presentation, and closing remarks. Following the assembly, veterans are invited to stay for a social gathering in the auditorium.
Let’s show our appreciation for those who have served. We look forward to celebrating this day with our veterans and community members.

Congratulations to Coach Blakeney and the Cast and Crew of our One Act Team who finished first in the Region Saturday! They will advance to the Super Regional at West Point High School November 23rd!
Cancer Awareness @BGHS
We as a staff at Buffalo Gap are already showing our community and school spirit on Fridays in the Fall. We have chosen Wednesdays in October to recognize Cancer awareness. Students, Staff and Community members we encourage you to show your support for conquering cancer in all its forms.
Please show your support for those fighting these awful diseases and to their survival of them! Hopefully you in your own individual way choose to donate to local funds, volunteer, support walks and other activities to take on cancer in all its forms during the month of October!
Congrats to Peyton Sheffer who participated in the War of Roses Wrestling Tournament this past weekend earning All America Status.
The Sideline Cheer Squad participated in UCA Sideline Cheer Comp on Saturday 10/5 at Deep Run High School finishing 5th. With their score they also qualified for Nationals!! Congrats to Sideline Cheer!!!
Yearbook Information
Time is running out to submit your information for the 2024-2025 yearbook.
Yearbooks can be ordered through the Walsworth Yearbooks website at yearbookforever.com.
Attention Seniors: Please submit a senior quote (remember to stay within school standards for language, subject matter, etc.) and a baby, toddler, or elementary school photo to accompany your senior portrait. The yearbook staff also needs elementary, middle school, high school, and other childhood photos for a slideshow to be shown during graduation practice.
