National Art Honor Society

The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is designed specifically for high school students in grades 10-12. In 1978, the National Art Education Association began the National Art Honor Society program to inspire and recognize students who have shown an outstanding ability and interest in art. The mission of the National Art Honor Society is to further creative abilities and talents of the Society's members, to increase awareness of art related careers, and to bring art to the attention of the school and community. In order to be a member of the FDHS National Art Honor Society, you must have completed at least one semester of art at Fort and maintain at least a B average in art at all times. If you are a member that stays in good standing and completes at least three semesters of art at Fort, you will receive a rainbow NAHS cord to wear at graduation.
