Scholarships

Students and parents often ask, "How do I find and apply for scholarships?" 

Here at Fort Defiance, we do our best to provide students with information about the scholarships known to us. There are so many various scholarships that it can be challenging to identify all that may apply to our students. As we learn about available scholarships we will post this information in a variety of places including this website, our monthly scholarship newsletter, and FortTV. Seniors and their parents are encouraged to stay-up-to-date with the latest information regarding scholarships. 

The scholarship database link below will take you to a Google Doc that will allow you to search a database of known scholarships. As the school year progresses, we will continue to build this database. Please note that any scholarship listing should be viewed for informational purposes only and does represent not an endorsement from Augusta County Public Schools. Check out the database often for updated information. 

Please pay close attention to the POSTED date to find the most recent scholarship listings. Feel free to reach out to your counselor with questions or Mrs. Labadie (labadie.ae@augusta.k12.va.us) specifically, if you have a question about a particular scholarship.

Local Scholarships

We are very fortunate to have scholarships that are generated from the Fort Defiance community. These scholarships are open to all seniors who meet the criteria to apply. Local scholarships will also be listed in the scholarship database and will be awarded at our Senior Academic Awards Scholarship Ceremony in May.
