Softball and Baseball:
THE VARSITY CONTESTS AT WILSON MEMORIAL, BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL, ARE 6PM STARTS.
Senior Recognition Games:
Senior Soccer players as well as our Senior Boys and Girls Track members will be celebrated prior to the start of the Home Soccer Match on 5/12
Senior Baseball and Softball players will be celebrated before the start of their Home Games on 5/15
Physical night will be held at Buffalo Gap on Wednesday, May 17 from 6-8pm. The cost is $20 and all money raised goes towards the purchase of medical supplies for the student athletes at BGHS. This is open to all rising 8th-12th graders. Physical and concussion forms may be picked up in the front office at BGHS or can be found on the BGHS website. Contact Michelle Ayers with any questions.

Unfortunately, due to the way in which electronic SCA voting was set up there was some confusion for students when selecting the grade levels of student candidates. Also, votes were unable to be verified based upon their grade level after the fact.
As stated " SCA Class Elections: Please vote for next year's class officers! Only vote for your class please! Thanks!"
Therefore, there will be paper balloting for all SCA student candidate races to ensure that grade level candidates are being voted on by their peers in their respective grade levels. The SCA would like to ensure transparency in the voting process and an accurate vote count for all candidates involved.
We will briefly hold the Tech bus for Homeroom.
TRACK NEWS: Track will not participate in the Mountain View Invitational this Friday on 5/5.

TRACK ALERT: The Augusta County Invite schedule for this evening at Riverheads has been moved to Monday May 1 beginning at 5 PM
The Varsity Baseball and Softball Games @ Fort that are being played tomorrow will be 6 PM start. The JV contests @ Gap will be 5:30 Starts.
The Softball and Baseball games scheduled for this Friday 4/28 have been moved to Thursday 4/27 due to the high probability of bad weather.
SOCCER UPDATE: THE 4/25 GAME VS BOYS HOME @ GAP HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
THE 4/14 MATCH @ CRAIG CO THAT WAS POSTPONED HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR 5/5 @ 6PM @ CRAIG CO.
Kitchen/Serving Lines and Food Options
Beginning May 1, 2023 Nielsen construction will be renovating our cafeteria kitchen/serving lines for the new middle school project. Our cafeteria staff will work hard to ensure that there will be food choices for students. Please understand that options will be limited without access to the main kitchen. Our cafeteria staff will be partnering some days with Village Pizza in Churchville to provide pizza for students lunches. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
NEW TENNIS INFO: BOYS TENNIS MATCH IS NOW MOVED BACK TO 4/20
The Boys Tennis match originally scheduled for 4/20 has been moved to Friday 4/21 @ Gap. The Girls will still play on 4/20 as scheduled.
BGHS Plant Sale is May 1st-3rd from 9 am to 5 pm.
