Our BGHS administrators, teachers, and staff members would like to thank all of you for your patience and look forward to your participation in Graduation 2022! We are excited to have a full ceremony on our Campus! We hope you all will enjoy the Graduation experience we are able to provide! Important Dates: April 30th: Prom May 12: Upperclassmen Academic Awards. 9am in the William R. Deardorff Auditorium. Seniors, Juniors and invited Underclassmen will be invited with their families. May 13 and 16: Senior Exams: Please return Chromebook to the teacher following the last exam. May 20: Mandatory Graduation Practice; Arrive at 1130am: We will be feeding the Seniors and showing a Senior presentation in the Auditorium followed by lining up and proceeding with Graduation practice in the Stadium. Return your Chromebook if you have not already. May 21: Graduation; Arrive at 830am: We will be lining up in the New Gym and have a procession to the Stadium. The ceremony will be broadcast live on the NFHS network for those with concerns regarding attendance or unable to travel for the event.

Buffalo Gap vs. Honaker will begin at 4:30 PM The Siegel Center will be cleared between each two game session. The doors will open to the public for the 6th session (Buffalo Gap vs. Honaker) at 3:45 PM. This is a reminder that all ticket sales for the VHSL State Wrestling Tournament for Class 1, 2, and 3 to be held at Salem Civic Center, Salem, VA on February 18-19, 2022 will be online. Please be sure that all parents and fans that will be attending this event are aware that all ticket sales will be online. Senior Nights Girls Basketball/ Wrestling/ Indoor Track - 2/11/22 Boys Basketball/ Basketball Cheer - 2/15/22 We will be recognizing our senior participants for the Winter Activities listed on the dates above. The recognition will occur at the conclusion of our JV Basketball games. The JV games will end at approximately 6:30-6:45 PM. We ask all escorts to be present prior to 6:30 PM for the ceremony. The Girls basketball games vs. Wilson Memorial scheduled for 1/7/22 have been moved to tomorrow 1/8/22 at 3:00 PM at Wilson Memorial High School. The Boys basketball games vs. Wilson Memorial scheduled for 1/7/22 have been moved to 2/7/22 at 5:30 PM at Buffalo Gap High School. The JV Girls game vs. PM will be moved from 2/7 to a date TBA. The wrestling match vs. Alleghany has been postponed and a makeup date has not been set at this time.
