90-Minute Parent/Teen Driver Education Program
Attention all Students taking Driver Education Classroom in 2023-2024.
Students enrolled in 10th grade PE/Driver Education must complete and pass the 9 week driver education classroom course AND now attend/complete the 90 min. parent/teen driver program. This program is a requirement for all students to complete before they can receive their certificate of completion card for driver education classroom. This program is optional for all parents/guardians BUT we strongly suggest that a parent/guardian attend. IF the student’s parents/guardians are opting out, the attached opt out form must be completed and returned before the student can receive the certificate of completion. Students taking Driver Education in the Spring can attend the Fall Meeting as well. Students will have an opportunity to watch in class to complete the program if they and a parent/guardian do not attend the meeting.

The Program will consist of a curriculum that emphasizes parental responsibilities regarding juvenile driver behavior, juvenile driving restrictions and the dangers of driving while intoxicated and underage consumption of alcohol. We will also discuss the process of getting a license and answer any questions about the process.
