Attention all Students taking Driver's Ed!
90 Minute Parent/Teen Driver Program Meeting
Monday, October 5, 2026
6:00pm - 7:45pm in the Auditorium
This program is a requirement for students to attend before they can receive their driver education classroom completion card. If students cannot attend, they will have the opportunity to watch a pre-recorded 90 min video similar to our presentation in class. Parents and Guardians have two choices. One is to attend this program which we recommend. If unable to attend or you choose not to, you must sign the program parental opt-out form that your child now has and have them return it.
This program is primarily geared towards the parents as we strive to help the parents fully understand the juvenile licensing process, requirements, and the incredibly important role parents play in this process. We will discuss teenage driving risks such as distracted driving and discuss strategies and resources available to help parents with student drivers. Our school resource officer will also discuss traffic stop procedures, distracted driving, new laws and answer any questions you may have.
