Firefighting
Valley Career and Technical Center will also launch a new Firefighting program in 2026-2027. This course challenges students academically, mentally, and physically while meeting the standards of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1001-2019and HAZMAT/WMD awareness and operations. Students will have the opportunity to earn Firefighter I and II certifications upon successful completion. Students must be 16 when the class officially starts in August. .
