A comprehensive extracurricular program related to all facets of the curriculum is an integral part of the instructional program of each school. A strong student activities program is a constructive influence upon student behavior and the development of student leadership and cooperation in the high schools. The program is designed to attract the broadest possible student participation. A comprehensive extracurricular program includes such activities as student government, publications, athletics, intramurals, forensics, dramatics, music, hobby or interest groups, course related clubs, and vocational education organizations.
