On May 8, 2023, Congressman Ben Cline made a special presentation to the ten-time-state champion Riverheads football team.
Free Athletic Physical night for RHS rising 8-12 graders will be Mon May 8th at 5:00 PM. VHSL physicals are valid for entire school 23-24 school year. This is a one time and is good for all seasons. Athletes need to have insurance portion and parent signature prior to having the physical completed.

Forensics - Gabe Riccioni - Region 1B Champion in the category Humorous Dramatic Interpretation
Wrestling - The team finished 2nd in Class 1 at the State Championships in Salem 2/17-2/18. Jake Yowell (2x State Champion) won 126 lb Weight Class. Cody Cash won 165 lb Weight Class. Luke Bryant won 190 lb Weight Class.
Indoor Track - The team won the 1B/2B Region Championship at Heritage HS 2/18. BOYS Individual Region 1B/2B Champions: Nolan Tyree 1st - Pole Vault and Austin Roberts 1st - High Jump; GIRLS Individual Region 1B/2B Champions; 1600m Relay 1st Summer Wallace: 1st - 500m, 1st - 300m, 1st - High Jump, 1st - Long Jump, 1st - Pole Vault
