Adventures at the Museum

Augusta County Public Schools and Frontier Culture Museum Invite Preschool -Fifth Grade Families to Adventures at the Museum!!

When:  Choose either April 20 or 21, 2022

Where:  Frontier Culture Museum (1290 Richmond Road, Staunton, VA 24401)

Time:  Come and go anytime between 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm.  However, the museum will close at 8:00 pm.  The earlier you arrive, the more time you have for touring!

What:  As families arrive, children will be given a Passport /map to guide their family through the museum.  As families visit each exhibit, children may stamp their passports with the provided stamp, reading skills will be sharpened, and knowledge of life long ago will be expanded.  

**Prizes, FREE Book Picks,  pizza, and drinks are available for each participant. ** 

**ALL Children Must be accompanied by an adult to attend this event. 

Remember to wear comfortable walking shoes!  

Water bottles, flashlights,  and bug spray are also encouraged.**  

Cost:  This event is completely FREE for Augusta County Public School families attending our elementary schools.  

Action Needed:  Please reserve a spot for your family by scanning the QR code, calling Lesley Dofflemyer at 245-5119 or emailing ldoffle@augusta.k12.va.us on or before Friday, April 15, 2022, or completing this Google Form letting us know the following information:

  • The date you are attending: Wednesday, April 20, OR Thursday, April 21

  • How many family members are attending?
